Computer Threads was born in the days following the launch of the iPad.
After weeks of sifting through boring black cases, it became very apparent that no one had designed an iPad case worthy of protecting such an innovative, precious piece of technology. We searched high and low and eventually gave up.
Shortly thereafter, we decided to take it upon ourselves to design a case that was as unexpected and fresh as the iPad itself. Striving to incorporate fashion trends with computer bags, we assembled our think tank. Ideas snowballed into more ideas and those ideas got hitched and finally settled down and had kids. After many hours of sketching, designing, and creating sample after sample, The Original V_Neck Sleeve was born. Our baby looked like a shirt, but fit the iPad like a glove.
Think about your favorite t-shirt, the one that's 10 years old but still manages to always find it's way to the top of your drawer. Imagine the warm feeling of a fresh garment straight from the dryer? We've taken all of these emotions, added a bunch of padding and 100% cotton machine washable fabrics, and came up with the name Computer Threads. By using the same materials as our coziest pieces of clothing, we created a totally unique collection of computer sleeves and bags that fits iPads and laptops perfectly.
